FAQ

Where are you located?

We are located in Glendale, Arizona

What is the price of your puppies?

Our puppy price starts at $2500. At CocoLove Doodles, our goal is to place our furbabies with the right families. We focus on raising high-quality, well-socialized puppies that make loving family companions. Our puppies come with health guarantees, early socialization, Basic Training, and the option for Trupanion pet insurance to give them the best start in life. Because each litter is unique, pricing can vary based on factors such as size, coat type, color, or Breed. To learn more about our puppies and what’s included, we’d love to chat with you! Once you’ve completed your application, you will be contacted to schedule a FaceTime call.

How do I reserve my spot on the waitlist?

Click the “Application” button above to start your application. There is a non-refundable $500 deposit to reserve your spot on the waitlist. Once we have received your application and the $500 deposit, you will be added to our Master List in the order that both have been received. If you are reserving for a future litter, we will reach out to those on the priority list when pregnancy has been confirmed. You have the right to pass if the particular litter or timing is not right for you, and you will keep your spot on our list for the next litter.

What age can I take my puppy home?

Puppies are generally ready to go home between 8 to 12 weeks of age. This time frame allows the puppies to socialize with their litter mates and learn what is and is not acceptable from mom. At CocoLove Doodles, we start puppy pick up around 8 1/2 to 9 weeks.

Will the puppies be socialized?

Socialization is critical for puppies at 3 to 16 weeks as they are most receptive to new experiences. We carefully expose our puppies to a number of situations, utilizing family members and friends, young children, taking them out in a wagon around the neighborhood, running appliances, in-home grooming and more.

Are the parents’ health tested?

Coco, including the external females and males in our program have been OFA tested, genetic and health tested. We DO NOT breed any dogs with health and temperament issues.

Will the puppies receive vaccinations?

Yes, they will receive age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormers (Canine DAPPv, Pyrantel, and Fenbendazole). Upon puppy pick up, you will receive a health record with vaccines and dewormers administered. The health record should be provided to your Veterinarian during the scheduled visit which should be no later than 3 days from puppy pick up. It is recommended to schedule your puppy’s Vet visit prior to pick up.

What is your guarantee?

If the puppy is not taken to a licensed veterinarian for a full health check within three (3) working days and insured (pet insurance) from pick up, the health warranty is void. In the case of a life-threatening debilitating congenital defect, Buyer may return the puppy, up until the age of 18 months (1 year 8 mo.) for a replacement puppy. If a replacement puppy is not available at the time of return of the puppy, a replacement puppy will be provided at the earliest possible time or the buyer can choose to receive a partial refund of the total puppy purchase price; replacement puppy color or gender are not guaranteed. FYI – You must secure insurance for the first 30 days post-pickup to maintain the health guarantee (sign up free for 30 days).

Are your puppies hypoallergenic?

The prefix “Hypo” means less than or under. For example, a dog with Hypoxia has less than a normal amount of oxygen in their blood. CocoLove Doodles ensures the health and care of their breeding females and carefully selects healthy Sire’s with a double furnishing to contribute to producing puppies with little to non-shedding coats. However, CocoLove Doodles does not guarantee allergen free puppies as allergies could be caused by dog saliva, sweat, urine, fur or dander.

What training will the puppies receive??

Potty training is started at 3 weeks. At 5 weeks, we introduce basic training (sit, down, wait, recall, and leash walking), crate training, and a combined implementation of Bad Ass Breeder, Puppy Culture and Ultimate Puppy training planner. It is important to note that the training the puppies receive is an introduction and does not guarantee that they will be fully house broken and established. It is ultimately up to you as the pet parent to continue with training once the puppy is in their new home. We do offer extended training for $150/week. We will continue to set the foundation of potty training, leash walking, and basic commands. Please know the longer a puppy stays in extended training the more established these behaviors become.

What will the puppy come home with?

You will be provided a puppy starter bag to help with their transition. Included is a blanket with mom and siblings scent, food, toys, training leash, 30 day Trupanion Pet Insurance, health record, birth certificate, microchip registration, information and resources.

What happens if I can no longer keep my pet?

If you are not able to continue care for your paw baby, please contact us to make arrangements. We require that you surrender your puppy to us and not a shelter or rescue. Please note, cost of pup will not be refundable if you can no longer care for him or her.

Why do you partner with another breeder when you don’t have a litter available?

My top priority is helping families find healthy, well-bred puppies that align with their needs and lifestyle. When I don’t have a litter available, I occasionally partner with a trusted breeder who upholds the same high standards of health testing, socialization, and ethical breeding practices as I do. This allows me to continue supporting families in their search for a well-raised puppy while ensuring that every pup comes from a responsible and reputable source.

Additionally, by working with another breeder, I can help maintain a high level of quality within my program by networking with other ethical breeders, learning from their experience, and ensuring that I only recommend puppies from lines that align with my standards.

When partnering with another breeder and the puppies are in your care and training, do you own them?

No, the puppies are still owned by the breeder I am partnering with. However, they are raised, socialized, and trained under my care to ensure they receive the best possible start before going to their new homes. This partnership allows me to provide hands-on training, enrichment, and early development while maintaining the high standards I expect from every puppy I place.

By doing this, I can help match families with well-prepared puppies while ensuring that each one is responsibly bred and ethically raised. My goal is to provide families with a seamless experience in bringing home a happy, well-adjusted puppy, regardless of whether the litter is from my own program or a trusted breeding partner.
