How I Got Started Breeding Goldendoodles

Breeding dogs has been part of my life since childhood. Born and raised in Michigan, I grew up surrounded by animals and spent much of my early years helping my family raise Pomeranians, Pomapoo (Pomeranian-Poodle) mixes, and Cocker Spaniels. Even as a child in elementary school, I was deeply involved in the care, socialization, and joy of welcoming new litters into the world.

Looking back now, it’s clear that my love for dogs and puppy development started long before I ever imagined creating my own breeding program.

Over the years, that childhood passion evolved into something much deeper — a genuine appreciation for canine temperament, early socialization, structure, genetics, and the lifelong bond between dogs and their families.

Today, that passion has become what is now known as CocoLove Doodles, a boutique Goldendoodle breeding program based in Arizona focused on raising well-socialized, family-oriented Goldendoodle puppies with intentional care and purpose.

Why I Chose Goldendoodles

As I continued learning more about dogs and breeding programs, I became especially drawn to the Goldendoodle breed because of their intelligence, affectionate personalities, trainability, and adaptability within family homes.

Our puppies are raised inside the home where they are exposed to:
