CocoCare™ is our boutique transitional placement program for litters we've raised or are raising — born here or carefully selected from trusted breeder partners. Every puppy is lovingly nurtured, socialized, introduced to foundational training, and thoughtfully placed with a family prepared to continue the foundation we've begun.

🐾 Meet Bo Katan — The Dam
Bo Katan is an intelligent, emotionally intuitive girl with an easygoing and observant nature. She enjoys being with her people and is very people-focused, while still having a wonderful sense of independence.
She tends to take in her surroundings and observe what's happening around her, rather than needing to immediately be in the middle of everything. Once she's ready, her playful personality comes right out.
She's affectionate and connected to her people without needing constant attention—a balance we especially appreciate in her temperament.
She's also shown a strong ability to pass along some of the qualities we value most: intelligence, emotional awareness, independence, playfulness, and connection to people.
Paired with Bogey's calm, social, eager-to-please personality, we're especially excited about the potential for puppies with thoughtful, people-oriented temperaments that can enjoy activity while still having the ability to settle.

Bogey is a people-focused, easygoing boy with a wonderful balance of calmness and playfulness. He does well with adults, children, and other dogs and genuinely enjoys being part of whatever his people are doing.
One of Bogey's standout qualities is his ability to settle beautifully in the home.
He currently lives with his guardian family, where he's an affectionate companion who can enjoy his playtime and then comfortably relax when it's time to wind down.
Bogey is also eager to please and responsive to his people, which makes working with him enjoyable.
He has a fun, playful side and is always happy to join the action, but he doesn't need to be the center of it 24/7.

What's your affiliation with the breeder?
I partner with breeders who share my values around intentional breeding, health testing, puppy development, and responsible placement. Depending on the partnership, I may manage puppy care, socialization, foundational training, placement support, family communication, and other aspects of the puppy-raising process.
Do you own the litter?
Not necessarily. CocoCare™ may support litters owned by another breeder while CocoLove Doodles manages some or all of the day-to-day raising, developmental work, placement support, and family transition. Ownership and breeding decisions remain governed by the individual breeder partnership.
Why do I need to fill out an application?
The application helps us learn about your household, lifestyle, expectations, dog experience, and what you're looking for in a companion. That information helps us make thoughtful recommendations as individual puppy personalities develop.
How long are puppies in CocoCare™?
Timing depends on the individual litter and breeder partnership. Puppies remain with their breeder or CocoCare™ until they are developmentally and legally ready to transition to their new families.
What kind of training do the puppies receive?
Puppies receive age-appropriate foundational training rather than finished obedience training. This may include potty routines, crate introduction, name recognition, basic cues, household manners, leash exposure, handling, and confidence-building experiences.
What happens after my puppy comes home?
Families receive guidance designed to help continue the routines and foundational skills their puppy began before going home. CocoCare™ is designed to make the transition easier — not leave families guessing once pickup day arrives.
How is CocoCare™ different?
CocoCare™ is not traditional boarding and it isn't simply puppy placement. It combines individualized developmental care, early training, socialization, breeder partnership, temperament observation, and family transition support to create a more intentional experience for puppies, breeders, and families.
